Overview
During 2022 In partnership with DESMI, we tested and validated our technology by digitizing and integrating a DESMI Modular S Centrifugal Pump into AR-Simply Insight, with the goal of demonstrating both the effectiveness of our solution and the demand for digital transformation in the maritime industry.

Real-World Testing with DESMI
To support the project, DESMI provided both CAD models and a physical Modular S Centrifugal Pump, which was brought to our office for testing and development.
Following successful implementation into AR-Simply Insight, the pump was returned to DESMI—now fully digitalized and integrated. Their service technicians then tested the solution in real-world conditions.
Results
Field tests and interviews confirmed a strong need for a tool like AR-Simply Insight, directly inspiring the development of new features focused on spare parts management & serial number scanning. The video below showcases the old prototype used in the project.
